Jordan Thompson is the latest player to commit to Leigh after signing up for the 2020 Betfred Championship season.
The experienced forward returned to Leigh last June from Hull FC having been one of the stand-out players for the club during the 2018 campaign.
Thompson left Centurions for Leeds towards the end of the 2018 season before re-joining Hull FC.
The 28-year-old started his professional career in the backline with Castleford for whom he played 77 times, scoring 27 times.
He also made five appearances on loan at York. While at Castleford, he underlined his versatility by playing at full-back, wing or centre before enjoying success as part of the pack.
Between 2014 and 2017, he played for Hull FC more than 100 times and scored 12 tries.
After signing for Leigh, he went on a run of 26 consecutive games before leaving for Leeds where he made six appearances.
Thompson said: “I was happy to return to Leigh last season because it’s somewhere I enjoy playing and I’m glad to be back in 2020. The fans are brilliant and there’s a good atmosphere about the place.
“I am looking forward to being part of the squad which John Duffy is putting together and getting stuck into pre-season training.”
