Trinity release one but expect to sign five more for 2020

After securing their Super League status, Wakefield Trinity chief executive Michael Carter revealed one senior player’s departure but says the club have five new signings lined up.

Speaking to Trinity TV today, Carter confirmed that Australian hooker Tyler Randell will leave the club, but, despite already signing Kelepi Tanginoa and Ryan Atkins earlier in the year, expects the club to bring in five more names in the off-season.

“We have got about five [signings] to announce,” Carter said.

“Kelepi [Tanginoa] was earmarked for next season and similar with Ryan Atkins, he was earmarked for next season, but we got an opportunity to bring him in early.
