Hull FC’s recent player selection issues have been made worse after two more of their forwards are facing one match bans after being charged from incidents during the win over Salford, with two more cautioned.

Mickey Paea has been hit with two separate charges for raising the knees, and is set to miss the trip to Catalans, alongside new signing Andre Savelio who has received a grade B charge for tripping, meaning he would also sit out the trip to France if fit.

The Black and Whites, who are already without eight of their first choice senior players, were spared further punishment after captain Danny Houghton and Carlos Tuimavave were also hit with tripping charges, but their grade A severity do not carry a suspension.
