Wakefield have announced that one of their regular starters has left the club.

Winger Mason Caton-Brown re-joined Trinity earlier this season, after having enjoyed a spell at Belle Vue previously.

But his club has confirmed that he has been released from his contract to “pursue other business interests”.

In a short statement, Trinity thanked Caton-Brown for his efforts and wished him the best for the future.
