Wakefield players withdraw from social media in preparation for relegation decider

Chris Chester says his Wakefield players are participating in a social media “blackout” ahead of Friday’s showdown with London.

The Trinity boss will see his side seal their Super League status with victory over the Broncos and he is eager to minimise distractions ahead of the game.

He told today’s press conference: “My job is just to make sure the prep is good and try and take the pressure off those guys.

“We’ve had a social media blackout this week and a press blackout. The players are doing their bit.”
