Warrington have announced that half-back Kevin Brown has joined Leigh on loan until the end of the season.
Brown has been sidelined since suffering an achilles injury during pre-season but is now close to a return to full fitness.
The Wolves report that the transfer was ratified ahead of last Friday’s transfer deadline, meaning he’s free to feature for the Centurions in the coming weeks.
Brown is out of contract with Warrington at the end of 2019, meaning he has effectively played his last game for the club.
Warrington chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick said: “We would like to thank Kev for his services to the club both on and off the field during his time with us, and for his recent professionalism while out through long-term injury.
“During his time on the sidelines he has continued to be an important part of our squad, supporting the playing group with his vast playing experience within the game.
“We all wish him well.”
