Former Leeds Rhinos captain Kallum Watkins is now free to make his NRL debut for new club Gold Coast after getting his visa approved.

The England international and experienced centre left Leeds last month to take up a two and a half year deal in the NRL and has been in Australia for the last few weeks, with paperwork preventing him from making his debut for the Titans.

However, Sky Sports are reporting the necessary visa has now been approved and the 28 year old is in line to start in the centres in the Queensland derby against Brisbane this week.
