Featherstone chairman Mark Campbell insists his club would be ready for Super League should they earn promotion this season.
Rovers remain in the race for the Championship play-offs and Campbell says that London’s shock win at Toronto last year proves anything is possible.
He told Rugby League Back Chat: “Without a doubt we would be ready.
“We’ve got the facilities, which we own, and we have a healthy turnover that is comparable with some of the bottom five Super League clubs, without the consideration of what Super League would bring to us.
“We would add to the staff, but as a business we’re well equipped.”
Campbell added: “It saddens me when I drive by Wakefield.
“It’s an embarrassment to the sport. A club that’s been in Super League all those years and you drive by it and it’s an absolute disgrace.”
