Widnes have shared the club’s attendance targets for 2020.

The Vikings have endured an extremely tough 12 months, which threatened the very existence of the club, but appear to now be back on more stable footing.

In a statement, the club said: “As the club heads into a new season, it is important to remain open and honest with supporters as to how aspirational the club is aiming to be this year.

“With that in mind, the club have decided to reveal their Attendance Targets for both home and away support during 2020, with the aim of increasing attendances year on year.”

The Vikings have set a cumulative attendance target for home matches of 41,500, which averages at 3,192 over 13 regular season matches.

The club reports that more than 2,000 season tickets have been sold for this season, which exceeds the figure achieved last year.
