Warrington Wolves have agreed a dual registration partnership with Widnes Vikings for the 2020 season.

This new deal, which will see squad players become dual registered, will also allow Championship side Widnes to work with Warrington’s performance team.

Warrington’s chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick is very excited about the new partnership. He said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Widnes. As clubs we have always had a health rivalry but strong relationship, this new partnership can only be beneficial to both parties.

“Admittedly, with the introduction of the reserves there may be limited opportunities to dual reg players, but there will be times when we need players to gain game time and we may not have a reserves fixture.
