Warrington Wolves have signed prop forward Leilani Latu from Gold Coast Titans on a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old Tonga international has played 58 times in the NRL following spells with Penrith Panthers and the Titans, he will remain with the Wolves until November 2021. confirm the signing of prop forward Leilani Latu on a two-year deal until November 2021.

The powerhouse was in high demand across the Betfred Super League having been made available by the Titans, Warrington beating off the competition to make the signing.

Latu said: “I’m looking forward to getting into training with the boys and creating some combinations with them. It’s an exciting brand of footy here and I couldn’t turn down the opportunity.

“I chose Warrington because of the quality of players and I have played with a couple of them back in the NRL too; Ben Murdoch-Masila and Sitaleki Akauola at Penrith and we had some success there.”
