World Cup 2021 organisers have announced that broadcasters Seema Jaswal and Dave Woods will host Thursday’s draws from Buckingham Palace.
The pair are scheduled to be joined by Prince Harry, while Dame Katherine Grainger and dual-code legend Jason Robinson will also be in attendance at the event.
The three tournament draws will see 16 men’s, 8 women’s and 8 wheelchair nations placed into their respective groups.
Jaswal is an experienced sports anchor and television presenter who has previously fronted events for the Premier League, Cricket World Cup and FIFA World Cup.
Woods is well known to Rugby League supporters as the voice of the sport’s coverage on the BBC.
The draw will be streamed live across RLWC2021 and The Royal Family’s Twitter and Facebook channels.
RLWC2021 chief executive Jon Dutton said: “Seema and Dave have been important figures in UK and international sport over many years and their experience, quality and enthusiasm makes them the perfect hosts for our draws.
“The anticipation is really starting to build, and it is great to see fans from all over the world getting excited about RLWC2021. The draw is the next big moment for the tournament, and we are all looking forward to seeing what match ups we have in store.”
