The nominees for Super League’s Young Player of the Year Award have been announced.
The award recognises the competition’s best player under the age of 21 at the start of the season.
Last year’s winner Jake Trueman could defend his title after being named on the 2019 shortlist.
The Castleford half-back is joined in the final five by Leeds pair Harry Newman and Jack Walker, Saints prop Matty Lees and Wigan forward Morgan Smithies.
The winner of the Award will be announced at the Super League Awards, held at The Lowry Theatre, Salford, on 6 October.
